Mutoh Industries Ltd. Was founded in Japan in 1952 as manufacturer of drafting machines for architectural and engineering applications. As apioneer in the manufacture and marketing of manual drfting equipment, it achieved national adnd international prominence, and has exported drafintg machines to more thean 60 countries worldwide. Thoday, the Mutoh group and its subsidiaries employ 600 people worldwide with annual revenues over $200 million         
  In 1963 Mutoh America was established as a subsidiary to distrbute draftion machines on the U.S. market. The first sign of MUTOH in Europe was the foundation of the European sales headquarters in Dusselddorf, Germany, in 1972. Sales of drafting machines, scribers, drafting tables and pen/pencil plotters rocketed and in a short time period, substantial market share was obtained in Europe.
